Masats Range to be Exhibited at UITP
Masats is attending the UITP exhibition in Stockholm with products that showcase the company’s innovation and technology in different transport sectors: road and railway transport.
For the bus sector, Masats will display the Electric Sliding door 028C in conjunction with the electric-manual telescopic Ramp RT1.
Standing out in the passenger train door sector are its passenger electric Sliding-plug door 00Gb, which offer quick closure as well as high system availability.
Active in infrastructure products as well, Masats will exhibit its Gap Filler for platform infrastructure. It’s an automatically extended running board that covers the gap between the train and the platform.
The main features of this equipment are the speed, lightness and extensive coverage. The device was designed to cover considerable gaps between trains and platforms with a board that extends up to 400 mm, also covering a large part of the platform because of the immense width of up to 3 m. This was possible with the innovative use of very light and robust materials and by adding cutting-edge technologies to the drive system which is capable of fully extending or retracting the board in less than a second.
To be able to demonstrate its PSD Platform Doors at the fair, Masats has developed a Virtual Reality demo that allows people to see how the doors work as well as how to configure a station all while learning about all the different station customization possibilities for the various modules available.
