Masats will be presenting its innovations in Busworld Brussels
Masats will be presenting its innovations in accessibility systems for public transport at the Busworld fair in Brussels, from 7th October to 12th.
- The all-new RE2 electric ramp
The new RE2 ramp, which is placed on the floor of the bus, enables comfortable access to the vehicle with a single 930 x 850 mm platform. Despite its low weight – only 48 kg – it is tested up to 350 kg. A presence sensor on the edge and on the platform provide even greater safety. Thus, it’s a quick and reliable ramp which can also be operated manually.
- The all-new 028d sliding door
It is a product suitable for all vehicles, but specially developed for vehicles with little clearance at the top, including autonomous or double-decker vehicles, but can be installed on any type of city bus.
The combination of harmonious movement, the speed and the perfect watertightness of the new sliding door also achieves a high level of passenger comfort. A new signalling system with coloured LEDs has been applied to notify the opening/closing situation, thus improving passenger flow and safety. Thanks to the Masats Evolution electronics, the door is ready for predictive maintenance, with the consequent increase in availability, avoiding unplanned downtime and lowering life cycle cost.
The main parts of the system are easily accessible, which facilitates the maintenance of the vehicle. The door has been designed and developed for sustainability, meaning the significant weight reduction of 20% helps reduce vehicle fuel consumption and generate less waste at the end of its life cycle.
- Inward Sliding door 029i
Masats will also be showing the 029i inward sliding door for urban vehicles at its stand. It is an electric sliding door to the interior, which provides a smooth movement and incorporates elements for passenger safety. A fast door that also incorporates Evolution electronics, the latest technology, prepared for predictive maintenance.
- Swyncro
The Masats Swyncro system redefines safety, availability, and efficiency in road passenger transport.
The outward opening smooth movement of the door, which is completely horizontal, and which does not require locking wedges or tensioning bars, provides a perfect seal and eliminates noise, increasing the comfort of passengers and drivers.
The Swyncro system makes it possible to reach the destination in the event of any incident at the door, even in the event of a power failure, allowing you to reach your destination safely.
